Loveless Porter-Designed “Barn at Brambleton” Wins Pace Setters Award

Steve Schulte, Kim Adams, Danny George and architect Sean Porter accepted the Signatures of Loudoun Design Excellence 2024 Pace-Setters award for The Barn at Brambleton.

We already knew that the opportunity to breathe new life into a 1940s dairy barn in Ashburn, VA was something special, as we helped reimagine the dated structure as a stunning event venue. Still, it’s humbling to have our latest historic renovation – The Barn At Brambleton – recognized as a “Pace Setter” in the Loudoun Signature Awards.

As explained by Loudoun County Department of Economic Development, this award celebrates: “Visually groundbreaking projects that … mark its current state of affairs and potentially set the pace for the future. Pace Setters may well be the Legends which the Signatures of Loudoun program honors a quarter-century from now.”

Working with developer Morgan-Keller, Loveless Porter Architects designed a multi-use venue, designed to host performances, private events, community gatherings, and even  Brambleton Presbyterian Church services. Interior features of this historic renovation include gathering halls, offices, suites, and a kitchen. Throughout, architectural modifications add modern convenience and improve the building’s structural integrity while preserving a nod to its rural past.
